Madeleine Hamer was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina. Thanks in part to her bookworm mother, historian father and hilariously funny and creative younger sister, storytelling has always been a focal point of Madeleine’s life. She got involved in local theatre at an early age, studied acting in college and abroad and hasn’t stopped performing since. Favorite theatre roles include: Eleanor Dare in The Lost Colony, Cecily Cardew in The Importance of Being Ernest, Lady Macbeth in Tale Told By An Idiot and Aphrodite in Cyclops: A Rock Opera. Television credits: Mad Men, Grey’s Anatomy, Body of Proof, CSI:NY. She’d like to thank Paula, Maurice, James and Anthony for being so supportive and serving as amazing examples of hardworking, collaborative artists.
