On Set – Day 12

Today our adventures take us to the police station/prison and the hospital! We lucked out and secured an entire floor of a local hospital for filming and had the chance to work with real doctors and nurses. These scenes are particularly important. The prison scenes are used to show how dangerous and volatile the character of Jack Lee and his family truly is.

On the flip side, the scenes at the hospital air toward the end of the film. Mitch is rushed through the hospital lobby after his barn is burnt down. There’s a big commotion rushing him in as he’s followed by Sheriff Billy and Tom, the local bartender. While being discharged from the hospital himself, Ed Hale overhears all of this and goes to investigate.
